Big time shout out to our guys Sterling and Tyler for finishing the St. George MARATHON last Saturday! Proud of these guys for the work they’ve put in this year in Fitness. Both men met their time goals as well! 🏃♂️💨

🌭 The Cookout
When’s the last time you had a glimpse of heaven? My grandpa invited me to a cookout last week — hosted by his financial planner. Not exactly a “spiritual” event, but as I looked around, I realized something sacred was on display.
Four of the five surviving Barlow siblings were there, now in their seventies and beyond. Grandkids, great-grandkids, cousins — four generations of one family tree all gathered together at a sponsored cookout.
In that moment I saw a living legacy.
🌊 “A Rising Tide Lifts All Boats.”
Through years of vision, sacrifice, and steady living, my grandparents built more than comfort — they built connection. Their consistency has quietly lifted siblings, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren…me.
It wasn’t perfect. But for an evening, it felt close — like a glimpse of heaven.
💎 From Financial Legacy to Spiritual Legacy
Just like consistent daily decisions can bless generations with financial wellbeing, God invites us to make consistent daily spiritual decisions that bless our families for generations to come.
The same way a rising financial tide lifts a family’s stability, a rising spiritual tide lifts a family’s faith.
Every prayer, every act of service, every moment of forgiveness — these choices compound into eternal wealth. Remember: Heritage > Inheritance.
🌅 Living Celestial Now
That thought stayed with me:
If heaven feels like deep belonging, love, and peace — can’t we experience that now?
“That same sociality which exists among us here will exist among us there, only it will be coupled with eternal glory.” — D&C 130:2
President Russell M. Nelson added in his talk “Think Celestial” that we are to live celestial laws now — preparing our hearts for the glory to come.
